Two of my friends -- Amy "Two Guns" Johnston and Jon "Nerf Guns" Lachonis -- recently wrote a tell-all book about the LOST fandom. (Don't be so embarrassed, LOST fandom. At least they didn't release the grainy night vision sex tape!) It's called "LOST Ate My Life!" and is now available for pre-order at Amazon which has apparently lowered its standards quite a bit.

I am, of course, kidding. Two Guns and Nerf Guns are awesome. So awesome that they got my pal and yours, Javier Grillo-Marxuach (aka Javi!), to write a foreword for their book. Though, instead of discussing the show which the book is about, the foreword is mostly Javi pimping "The Middleman" and wondering if he remembered to walk his dog the Kremlin early that morning.

It should be good stuff. Both Guns are more than qualified to write this lovecraftian tale of obsessive horror. And come November 1st, 2008 you'll see why.

The real question is...were you actually being held at gunpoint? Or nerf gunpoint? There is quite a difference between the two ;)

*slowly lowers the gun from Yang's head and puts the safety back on*

Also, I hope my editor doesn't mind that the Foreword is entirely about The Middleman, but what is a mediawhore to do but pimp 24/7?

Have I mentioned lately how awesome you are? This post is probably the funniest thing I will read all day and quite possibly the entire week. Of course, when one factors in that my life is boring and dull and tedious, it is quite feasible that your post is entirely lame and I am just impressed easily....hmmm...*goes off to think about that*

and on a different note, wOOt for Hijinx!!!!! That is spectacular and wonderful and fantastic. I will certainly purchase and read! And maybe it will be a catalyst for me. DANG IT, I need to find a catalyst.
